Ameli offers to download the QR Code of the vaccination certificate
While the health past is becoming clearer, the government is pursuing its vaccination strategy with the possibility since May 27 of registering its vaccination certificate on the Health Insurance website, ameli.fr.
The attestation-vaccin.ameli.fr site is now open and allows you to register your certificate of vaccination against Covid-19 after each injection received in France. To do this, all you have to do is identify yourself with your Ameli identifiers or with France Connect, the connection system set up by the government to simplify the multiplication of user accounts. A victim of its own success, the social security site encountered certain difficulties in connecting during the day of May 27, a few hours after it was put online and even today.
The certificate can be downloaded and printed if necessary. For people who have downloaded the TousAntiCovid application, simply scan the QR Code on the paper certificate initially received during vaccination appointments. The certificate is thus directly integrated into the application. This dematerialized proof of vaccination should make it possible in the days to come to go to certain closed places welcoming a large public and to travel in France and abroad with ease.
The health pass is becoming more precise
This vaccination certificate is indeed a step towards the launch of the health pass scheduled for June 9 with the reopening of indoor cafes and restaurants as well as sports halls, lounges, fairs and casinos in particular. A more recent version of the certificate should see the light of day on June 21, “this time adapted to European standards, with additional access through the Ameli account,” said the director of the National Health Insurance Fund at a conference release this Thursday, May 27.
As a reminder, the health pass will not be compulsory for activities relating to daily life but will be required to participate in events welcoming more than 1,000 people. The National Commission for Informatics and Freedoms (CNIL) also issued its opinion on the health pass on May 12, 2021.
